"El talento sin probidad es un azote"

Esta frase que el dia de hoy utilizo para iniciar mi publicación y reconectar con ustedes se la podemos acreditar al viejo héroe nacional de Venezuela y libertador de varios países latinoamericanos Simón Bolívar. Me gusta por que me hace pensar que estos complicados sistemas en los que vivimos llámense: sociedad o en una escala mucho más grande el universo entero, tienen garantías de que todo siempre regresará al equilibrio, cuestión que me parece muy vital. Considero que soy una persona con suficientes talentos y capacidades como para llevar una vida en constante equilibrio, sin embargo aun me falta mucho por aprender, especialmente sobre la tecnología blockchain y steemit para ser honesto. Hace más de un mes, publiqué mi primer intento de #introduceyourself pero no fue hasta luego de unos días que mi buen amigo Joe Goats a.k.a. @Joseacabrerav (Quien de hecho ha sido un excelente guia en este tema y si no me creen solo observen esta genial publicación que hizo recientemente para ayudar a personas que no tienen conocimiento sobre steemit en lo absoluto: https://steemit.com/spanish/@joseacabrerav/espanol-guia-de-steemit-para-creadores-de-contenido-artistas-de-los-siete-escalones-cientificos-y-practicantes-de-espiritualidad). En fin, José me hizo notar que había cometido el error de no colocar el tag de primer lugar, restando así el boost o impulso que este debería tener en la comunidad. En ese momento me sentí como un idiota, pero luego recordé que no hay nada que no pueda solucionarse y pensé que simplemente podía ser honesto con ustedes y pues aqui me tiene haciendo mi segundo intento de introducción en el cual aprovecho para contarles un poco más sobre quién soy y de donde vengo.

Bien solo para recapitular: mi nombre es Luis Puente (en la foto anterior soy la persona que se encuentra a la izquierda) nací en Venezuela en la ciudad de Caracas el 18 de septiembre de 1991, actualmente tengo 28 años pero honestamente me siento como si tuviera 18, con energía y vitalidad. Las otras dos personas que aparecen conmigo en la foto son mi tío Jorge y mi madre Rebeca de quien específicamente quería hablarles; debo reconocer que mi relación con ella durante toda nuestra vida ha sido en ciertos momentos un poco turbia, ya que ambos tenemos caracteres muy similares y tendemos a perder la paciencia muy rápido, sin embargo siempre estaré infinitamente agradecido de que ella sea mi madre ya que todos los talentos y apreciación por las bellas artes que llevo en mi los heredé de ella y por supuesto de mi padre Gerardo (En un futuro cercano hare una publicacion sobre ellos dos ya que ambos son excelentes artistas con trabajos muy interesantes y hermosos, con la esperanza de que también se unan a la comunidad y ellos mismos compartan sus trabajos y vivencias con ustedes).

Durante mi adolescencia fui un jovencito muy inmerso en mi propio mundo, realmente no me gustaba mucho salir de la casa y solo estaba interesado en mis lecturas, videojuegos y escuchar una y otra vez los álbumes de mis grupos favoritos.

Sin embargo cuando estaba en el último año de bachillerato recuerdo que en la televisión por cable había un canal conocido como Vh1 en el cual durante varias semanas transmitieron un maratón de un especial llamado "7 Ages of Rock".

Esta fue la chispa que despertó en mí la llama y el deseo de ser un músico y cantante de rock and roll, y lo que me llevo a dejar atrás la zona de confort en la que había permanecido durante muchos años; Escuchar y ver todas esas historias sobre legendarias bandas de rock sencillamente cambió todo lo que para mi era importante y desde entonces el rock and roll se convirtió en más que una pasión para mí, más bien ha sido como una religión desde entonces.

Hoy en dia 10 años después de ver dicho maratón, mi deseo de hacer música, de salir afuera y conquistar el mundo con rock and roll no ha disminuido aunque debo admitir que en dicho periodo de tiempo muchísimas cosas han cambiado, la actitud y la intención que en un comienzo me llevo en este viaje ya no son las mismas (muchas decepciones y malos ratos en el ambiente musical, especialmente la movida en Caracas son responsables de esto, pero a pesar de ellos lo agradezco ya que todos son pruebas y lecciones que debemos superar) . Lo que en un comienzo era locura y desenfreno de la adolescencia hoy se ha transformado en una necesidad espiritual de crecimiento y entendimiento para mi mi alma y espero poder concentrar de manera próspera y positiva toda esa fuerza y entusiasmo en trabajos de calidad que reflejen esa misma "locura" que sentí en un comienzo y así inspirar a otros jóvenes que sientan esa misma necesidad y de alguna manera ser de apoyo para que no comentan muchos de los errores que yo he cometido.

Para culminar entonces esta ronda de introducciones (esperemos que este sea el definitivo) quiero dejarlos con un abreboca de todos los proyectos que actualmente estoy cocinando. Mañana es viernes y como el cuerpo lo sabe todos estos días de la semana estaré publicando un segmento el cual decidí llamar #Alpventetopmusicrecords lo que en español sería algo como "la cúspide de discos musicales de Alpvente". En los cuales básicamente haré una reseña de un disco que considere haya dejado un impacto en mí como persona y músico, no solo en el genero rock, si no también muchos otros como: hip-hop, electrónica, música clásica etc. etc. Esto es especialmente útil para personas que quieran conocer música o nueva o recordar la nostalgia quizá de álbumes que ya han escuchado con anterioridad, para el dia de mañana he escogido una banda particularmente legendaria, estén atentos. ImI

También quiero anunciar que en las siguientes semanas poco a poco iré detallando el proceso de grabación y compartiré con ustedes varios DEMOS que realice el mes pasado en el estado Mérida en el estudio de un muy querido amigo de quien tambien les estare hablando. Estos demos son el primer paso para una producción mucho más grande y elaborada que honestamente aun no me encuentro en la capacidad de realizar pero que con fe y confianza en mi mismo eventualmente lograre para compartir con ustedes, no solo me limitare al proceso de grabación si no también les mostraré en cierta medida lo que es el estado Mérida y cómo se vive alla (un hermoso lugar que se queda en tu corazón una vez que lo conoces)

Finalmente, me despido de todos ustedes quienes puedan estar leyendo esto, si llegaron hasta este punto de la publicación pues tienen mi agradecimiento infinito y espero conectar con ustedes mas y mas con el pasar del tiempo. Para responder a la pregunta que hago en el encabezado de este post, diria que Alpvente, es una persona, en este caso Luis Puente, pero también es una filosofía y un estilo de vida en el que podemos superar nuestras adversidades conectando nuestra mente con nuestro corazon, para asi alcanzar lo que esta mas alla de nosotros y unificar todo nuestro ser con el resto del universo caminando con buenas vibras sobre el puente color arcoiris.

"Talent without probity is a scourge"

This phrase that I use today to start my publication and reconnect with you guys can be credited to the old national hero of Venezuela and liberator of several Latin American countries Simón Bolívar. I like it because it makes me think that these complicated systems in which we live: society or on a much larger scale the entire universe, have guarantees that everything will always return to balance, which seems very vital to me. I believe that I am a person with sufficient talents and abilities to lead a life in constant balance, however I still have a lot to learn, especially about blockchain and steemit technology to be honest. More than a month ago, I published my first attempt at #introduceyourself but it wasn't until after a few days that my good friend Joe Goats a.k.a. @Joseacabrerav (Who in fact has been an excellent guide on this topic and if you don't believe me just look at this great post he recently made to help people who have no knowledge about steemit at all: https://steemit.com/spanish/@joseacabrerav/espanol-guia-de-steemit-para-creadores-de-contenido-artistas-de-los-siete-escalones-cientificos-y-practicantes-de-espiritualidad). Anyway, José made me notice that i had made the mistake of not placing the tag first, thus subtracting the boost or impulse that it should have in the community. At that moment I felt like an idiot, but then I remembered that there is nothing that cannot be solved and I thought that I could simply be honest with you and make my second introduction attempt in which I take the opportunity to tell you a little bit more about Who I am and where I come from.

Well just to recap: my name is Luis Puente (in the previous photo I am the person on the left) I was born in Venezuela in the city of Caracas on September 18, 1991, I am currently 28 years old but I honestly feel as if I was 18, with energy and vitality. The other two people who appear with me in the picture are my uncle Jorge and my mother Rebecca whom I specifically wanted to talk about; I must admit that my relationship with her throughout our lives has been a bit murky at certain times, since we both have very similar characters and we tend to lose patience very quickly, however I will always be infinitely grateful that she is my mother since all the talents and appreciation for the fine arts that I carry in me I inherited from her and of course from my father Gerardo (In the near future I will make a publication about them two since both are excellent artists with very interesting and beautiful works, hoping that they also join the community and share their work and experiences with you).

During my adolescence I was very immersed in my own world, I really did not like to leave the house and I was only interested in my readings, video games and listen again and again to the albums of my favorite groups.

However, when I was in the last year of high school I remember that on cable television there was a channel known as Vh1 in which for several weeks they broadcasted a marathon of a special called "7 Ages of Rock".

This was the spark that aroused the flame in me and the desire to be a rock and roll musician and singer, and what led me to leave behind the comfort zone in which I had remained for many years; Listening to and seeing all those stories about legendary rock bands simply changed everything that was important to me and since then rock and roll became more than a passion for me, rather it has been like a religion since then.

Today 10 years after seeing the marathon, my desire to make music, to go outside and conquer the world with rock and roll has not diminished although I must admit that in that period of time many things have changed, the attitude and intention that in the beginning I had on this trip are no longer the same (many disappointments and bad times in the musical environment, especially the music scene in Caracas are responsible for this, but despite that I appreciate it since they are all tests and lessons that we must overcome). What was initially madness and debauchery of adolescence today has become a spiritual need for growth and understanding for my soul and I hope to be able to concentrate in a prosperous and positive way all that strength and enthusiasm in a quality work that reflects that same "madness" that I felt at the beginning and thus inspire other young people who feel that same need and somehow be supportive so they do not make many of the mistakes that I have made.

To conclude then this round of introductions (hopefully this is the final one) I want to leave you with a mouthful of all the projects that I am currently cooking. Tomorrow is Friday and as the body knows, all these days of the week I will be publishing a segment which I decided to call #Alpventetopmusicrecords what in Spanish would be something like "the cusp of Alpvente musical records". In which basically I will make a review of an album that I consider has left an impact on me as a person and musician, not only in the rock genre, but also many others such as: hip-hop, electronic, classical music etc. etc. This is especially useful for people who want to know new music or remember the nostalgia, perhaps, of albums they have already heard before, for tomorrow I have chosen a particularly legendary band, stay tuned. ImI

I also want to announce that in the following weeks I will gradually detail the recording process and share with you several DEMOS that I made last month in the state of Mérida in the studio of a very dear friend of whom I will also be talking to you. These demos are the first step to a much larger and more elaborate production that honestly I am not yet in the capacity to perform but that with faith and confidence in myself I will eventually be able to share with you, I will not only limit myself to the recording process but also show you to some extent what the Merida state is and how people live there (a beautiful place that stays in your heart once you know it)

To answer the question I ask in the heading of this post, I would say that Alpvente is a person, in this case Luis Puente, but it is also a philosophy and a lifestyle in which we can overcome our adversities by connecting our mind with our my heart, in order to reach what is beyond us and unify our whole being with the rest of the universe; walking with good vibes on the rainbow bridge.
