Unwittingly or not, the Progressives are advocating for unscience. Not sure I want to be treated by physicians relying on unscience or be subject to public policies that are informed by unscience. Nope, it's better to let the scientific process yield knowledge than have the knowledge of the mob determine unscientific results. Where are the stewards of academic freedom? Where are the defenders of science? The cowardly retraction of the paper (the authors stand by the results of their research, just not the uncomfortable implications of their results) is a milestone on the road to a dystopian future. Progressive don't need no stinkin' facts. What could go wrong?
