It is very hard to imagine our life without mobile phone not even a single day. We can see how much people busy on their smart phone in restaurant, Bus Stand, Railway station Metro station etc. Today mobile phone are not just for making calls and receive calls but also it is like our personal computer on the go so we can do our personal and business related work like reply important mail, watch YouTube for entertainment etc. but with respect to our use performance of our mobile phone gets slow to fix this in this post I will share some tips to boost performance of your mobile phone.

Reset the APN

APN is stand for Access Point Name it help to build connection between Mobile Network like GSM, GPRS, 3G and 4G that you are using with Internet. Every telecom operator have its own Access point network.

You can reset it to boost internet speed. You can search over Google to find best APN setting for your telecom operator and set according to that. For most of the android phone you have to go to Setting==>>Mobile Network==>>Access Point network. If you are using iPhone then you might have similar setting.

Clear the Cache Memory

In our mobile phone there are lots of process going on in the background which is known as Auto Sync Feature like sync of our email, live location etc. Cache memory stores the frequent used information so that it load faster when it needed with respect to your activity. Cache memory of our devices get increased with respect to our mobile uses which reduce the performance of our phone. Most of the all mobile phone have option to clear the cache memory you can see it in setting option of your mobile phone.

You can also download cache cleaner from android play store to clear the cache memory there are lots of app available on Google Play Store. I would recommend to use default feature of your mobile phone because installing extra app will consume extra space on your device.

To reduce your Cache you can use app like Google Photos, using this you can store your photos, videos to Google Photos and remove those photos from your device. Google Photos has auto sync feature to remove duplicate photo. You can also use Micro SSD to card to move your media to SSD card and free internal storage.

Use battery Saver Mode.

If case if your phone is slow down enable battery saver mode this will stop all background process of app that you are not using like sync of email, location tracking in background. Google introduced this feature from Android 5.0 Lollipop. Your all phone resources will be utilize for the app you are currently using. This will not only boost performance but also saves your battery.

To enable battery saver mode go to Setting==.>>Battery==.>>Battery Saver you may have shortcut in notification area depend upon your phone manufacturer.

Turn off location tracking

Most of the android app requires to track your live location to provide better service like Uber, Ola etc but these apps do very aggressive tracking especially hyper local delivery app like Dunzo, Swiggy, Zomato etc. as compared to any other feature, location tracking consume more battery and internet if you turn off location tracking then then it will not only boost performance of your mobile phone but also saves your battery. Turn on GPS when you have need of it like when you order food or book cab for your travel.

Disable Auto updated of Apps

Google Android have option to auto update the apps the feature help user to auto update app so that user get all essential security patch or major updates installed on mobile but the downside is auto updates happens in the background which reduce the performance of our phone. It is better to disable auto updates and manually update the app which you think this app essential to update. Check you apps on equal interval of time, if you have app installed on your mobile that you are rarely using better to uninstall it.

Disable live Wallpaper

Most of us like live wallpaper on our Phone screen but these live wallpaper consume lots of phone CPU resource which result slowdown of phone performance. It is recommended that use static wallpaper instead of live wallpaper. You can use static image which will be best option.

Update Android Version

Google bring new updates with new version to boost and optimize the performance of your android phone so always update your phone to latest android version. Before updates please check minimum requirement for that android version. In case if new android version not compatible with your phone then you can reset your phone to factory default setting so need to worry while upgrading to new version of android.

Enough Internal Storage

Always monitor your phone internal storage and keep maximum internal storage as much as possible. It is recommended that to keep minimum 1GB free of your internal storage if 2GB to 3GB that would be much better, to achieve maximum internal storage delete apps you are rarely using and upload your phone media to Google Photos and delete from your phone. Files by Google is best cleaner app with very neat and clean interface developed by Google. This will help you to clean internal storage faster than any app.
