Good day everyone,
I'm Clinton Onye by name and I am a writer by passion, mostly self-taught in physics and mathematics, you can find some of my scientific research papers here. I love reading a lot (mostly science related stuffs), I'm also very inquisitive and analytical which makes me also interested in philosophy, especially of the mind and it's related sciences.
I have during the course of my free writing, thought of monetizing my writing skills

and was led to the the social media blockchain Steemit, which I discovered online. Initially i had seen others like Steemit but not blockchain based i.e. Medium and it's likes, the problem with these platforms was their payment methods, it doesn't favour where i'm from - I am actually a Nigerian, I also couldn't start up my own blogging site due to financial constraints and I couldn't go into freelancing - writing for other blog owners, as it was very competitive - I wasn't the only one applying.
I joined Steemit around April, this year(2021) only to discover how less lively and backwards it was compared to this platform and I also noticed some kind of unfair treatments - some people posted irrelevant contents and got huge rewards while those of us especially the new ones that produced quality stuffs were reward very less or not even rewarded at all/ even got noticed at all, I really like what @anggreklestari, @lovesniper and @OCD team are doing for the new comers on this platform and would like them to keep up with the good work.
As time went by, I began to ponder and make researches online only to discover two things

  1. The articles that promoted Steemit and made it look very appealing were written a long time ago before something dramatic happened in the Steemit company.
  2. Steemit used to be lively until the dramatic event - blockchain war broke out amongst the Steemit members and most of it's members decided to migrate to the new platform that was forked out of Steemit, which we all know to be this platform - Hive.

This was I how I got to know about this platform and I decided to join, I however have noticed some kind of interesting features on this platform and it makes Hive look more engaged, supportive and advanced than the parent one - Steemit but that doesn't mean things cannot turn around, the universe's entropic nature makes it full of surprises.

Now that I have joined, you guys would be seeing my works, I would mostly be posting scientific reports from notable sites and sandwiched with cartoons/memes to make it more fun while also keeping us updated on what is going on in the scientific community, see my first post below for an example.

Could The Discovered Supermassive Object At The Center Of Our Galaxy Of Which The 2020 Nobel Prize Was Awarded For Be A Black Hole ?

I would need your supports and promise not to let you guys down.

Thanks.

Hey Clinton, welcome to Hive! :) Great choice, this place is where most of the good people from Steem moved to, you will be just fine here as long as you create original content and engage with our community :) Good luck!
