A few days ago when I was looking for the latest news that people most talking about, I was fixated on a news by CNN which said that one European country, Turkey plans to send humans to the moon in 2023, and i was like ... Wow ..

This is quite surprising news for me because I honestly think that there will not be another human landing on the moon in the near future. especially after NASA's plan to return to the moon had many problems. so I thought the second landing of humans on the moon might not happen..

but tbh, this plan is indeed ambitious, when other countries such as China or Russia land their spacecraft on the moon, Turkey plans to send humans directly ... and I see they've planned this seriously, even they've been in talks with space -X to support this program..

Will this mission successful ?

ok ,,regarding the chances of whether Turkey will become the second country to successfully land human on the moon, I myself doubt this will be achieved. As we know, since the last human landing 53 years ago by Apollo 17. there have been no more human landings on moon AGAIN.

I don't know exactly what the reason why there is no human landings after Apollo 17, but it's clear that the moon landing was not an easy one, even for NASA itself. the cost of this program is enormous and I honestly doubt Turkey will handle it. plus a very short time, only about 2 years left, while countries that are quite experienced in space such as China are still focus with their robots that have successfully landed on the moon, but have not succeeded in landing humans on the moon yet.

Turkey itself seems less stable to run this program, as there are protest from the Turkish opposition to President Erdogan to cancel this mission, to focus more on crucial matters related to the country's economy rather than spending billions of dollars on missions that have a high risk of failure.

Conclusion

I'm not discrediting Turkey, but seeing how NASA's Apollo mission trip was, then I quite doubt that Turkey's second human landing mission will be happen. Even so, I hope that my opinion is wrong and Turkey will succeed in making history as the second country to land humans on the moon, ALL THE BEST FOR TURKEY 🇹🇷 .

What do you think guys? do you have another perceptions?
