1. Advertisement for a Facility Technologist
Technologist position at National Nanofabrication Centre, CeNSE, IISC
The National Nanofabrication Centre, Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering, is inviting applications for a Facility technologist position to be a part of Cleanroom operations.
Specific duties include
· Operate and maintain cleanroom tools, including deposition, etch, or lithography systems
· Guide and train users on different tools and processes
· Ensure the tool SOP’s are enforced, and trend chart for processes are updated on time
· Execute unit processes belonging to internal/external projects
Selection Process: All candidates selected in the interview should undergo a mandatory 8 weeks internship. The technologist position's final selection will be based on a written test and interview at the end of 8 weeks. Technologist positions carry a consolidated emolument of Rs.14000 - 75000 depending on qualification and experience.
Minimum qualifications for internship: Applicants SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED Diploma or BE/ MSc (Electronics, ECE, electrical and electronics, materials, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or related subjects), Should be willing to work in the evening shift (2-10 pm) if selected
Stipend*: Rs.5000/month as an internship stipend upon completion of the program.
