I imagine that the "POWERS" that people listen to will just put out an Edict demanding that these nuckle draggers avoid looking at or acknowledging the Sun in any way... then sit back and watch as the knuckle draggers fight about trying to enforce the edict. Sort of like convincing them that Masks = Protection and then letting them try to figure out how to FORCE everyone into conformity through social pressures and authoritative displays.
