WHY VIRUS IS A DEADLY DISEASE, WIDE EXPLANATION USING GENETIC CODE BY CHARGAFF

VIRUS is the only micro-organisms that exist as Both living and Non living thing........

Virus is regarded as living because it can reproduce when present in another living cell...meaning that virus has the ability of reproducing inside the body of an organism in the process giving rise to multiple folds and numbers and that's why it stays long in the body of an organism, difficult to cure due to it number after it reproduce which eventually lead to the death of the host (affected organisms)...perhaps it's a LIVING because it is capable of transmitting genetic information from one organism to another meaning it spread quickly

VIRUS is a Non-living because it cannot respire, excrete or response to external stimulus... This means virus itself is a dead cell until it enters the body of an organism and become active and dangerous hence when virus is transmitted it's a non-living and when it affect the host it become living........in additional.... VIRUS is compose of both RNA and DNA which are genetic material,.......

DNA is responsible for storing and transferring genetic information that's base unit of inheritance while

RNA directly codes for an amino acid which means VIRUS is capable of transmitted from one organism to another and it also entails how the diseases is decoded in the body......the type of RNA which helps to transmit disease is messenger RNA (mRNA) and small nuclear RNA(snRNA) however other type of RNA includes ribosomal and transfer RNA.... however the relationship between RNA and DNA in virus expatiate more on GENETIC CODE

According to the base pairing rule by CHARGAFF which states in DNA GUANINE pairs up with CYTOSINE while ADENINE pairs up with THYMINE but in RNA THYMINE is replaced by URACIL....

DNA...(GUANINE, CYTOSINE, THYMINE AND ADENINE)

RNA...(GUNANINE, CYTOSINE, URACIL AND ADENINE)

When virus affect an organism it's d function of DNA to transmit the diseases to other organism as the basis of inheritance while the RNA interprete what is being process by the DNA..... hence...DNA is converted to RNA in a process called TRANSCRIPTION
