STEMng Digest: Week 38
Greetings to the Hive community and welcome to a new edition of the STEMng digest. a weekly publication where we celebrate the Nigerian authors in the stem field that are making waves on the hive blockchain.
For emphasis, STEMng is a sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that is dedicated to supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain. Stemsocial community has been putting in curation effort for as hold as the chain itself.
Basically, our curators comb through the blockchain for stem-related content published by Nigerians that fulfill the curation criteria of the stemsocial community. Such posts are then submitted in the curation channel of the stemsocial community on discord for cross-checking and upvotes.
For this week's digest, the following articles are the picks:
2.@jsalvage: It may not really be a self decision but probably, Agoraphobia signshttps://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://images.hive.blog/DQmYpVw2Y5JcB7hAeVXyyW7eyGjx2RtT1p6rFyaC3wW7KmT/GettyImages-502088187-58d1633d5f9b581d7277c53c.webp
3.@aboogeeky: UI/UX: A noobs perspective
4.@ebingo: Learning about a Venous Cutdown (Surgical notes)
5.@bhoa: Acne: causes, risk factors, treatment and prevention
Top pick for the week
Our top pick for this edition is the post by another medical doctor, @ebingo: Learning about a Venous Cutdown (Surgical notes)
Many of us are used to medical personnel just setting lines for intravenous administration of fluids in the hospital. The procedure looks simple but this is now always the case. When the required vein is difficult to locate, the patient might need to undergo a procedure known as venous cut-down. Learn more about the procedure in our top post for the week.
