STEMng Digest: Week 23
It is a brand new edition of the STEMng digest where we celebrate the Nigerian authors in the stem field that are making waves on the hive blockchain. Today's edition is the 23rd one since the rebirth, or should I say, re-nomenclature of the chain.
For those that might be wondering, we are a sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that has been supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain for about four years now.
Things seem to be picking up as far as authorship contributions is concerned in the community - perhaps no thanks to the bull market. We have sieved through the numbers and selected the best for your digestion. The following articles are the picks for this week's STEMng digest:

This post would definitely interests the programming Geeks on the blockchain. The author did a programming tutorial on how to create a personalized hive/hbd transfer tool that would work on the blockchain. If you blockchain programming interests you, you might need to check this one out.
There has been an increased case of suicide in our society and there is need for more attention to be paid to the subject. The author delved into the psychological causes that might lead one into commiting suicide. A good read for everyone.
An interesting story about what led to the ban of cocaine among aircraft pilots in the 18th century. The went further to discourse the science side of the drug and the effects of its abuse. Quite an interesting read.

Get in here medicine/anatomy students! We've got a new entrant on our hand that seems to love the subject, although he's a medical laboratory science student. This particular post is about the carpal bones and he did a decent job at its description.
Top pick for the week
Our top pick for this edition is the post by @belemo Things that could go wrong: What if it was cocaine?
Apart from the fact that the author tried to educate his audience about the science of cocaine, he did a good job by backing it with a really good story.
