STEMsocial Distilled #3
An here we go for a third edition of this distilled of the best STEMsocial posts. Surprise, surprise, the edition of this week is released on Monday. Most posts that are advertised today can consequently still be voted on. Therefore, please don't be shy and don't hesitate to give them a read and show your support (if not already done). These posts are definitely worthy! As for previous weeks, @lemouth took the time to deal with this compilation.
For those who do not know what STEMsocial is, please take a look here (this will be updated in 1-2 days), or pass by Discord or the Hive Chat.
Before moving on with the two best posts that have been selected from all the posts found by our curators last week, here is the most supported ones:

Our top choices
Nanobodies – Production, Advantages, and Use
We have all heard about antibodies. But who knows what a nanobody is? There is a connection, of course, and nanobodies can actually be very useful to help fighting various diseases. Cancers consist in one example. To know more about those beasts, please have a look to this last post from @suesa. From your reading, you will also learn the connection with llamas (see the picture).
Causes of Covid-19 lethality and possible new therapies
The COVID-19 is everywhere in the news today. In his very interesting last post, @girolamomarotta discusses the connection between the COVID-19 and tromboses. This quite important relation could actually englighten us with respect to get a more appropriate treatment for the patients entering in intensive care units. Don't hesitate to read the post for more information.

You are welcome! :)
Thanks to this Distilled I found @girolamomarotta's post! Very good work. I'll be forwarding his article to a handful of people who will appreciate the read. I'm also glad I made it there before the 7th day :)
Congratulations to everyone who's featured here!
I must say, I like the new name very much: STEMsocial <3
Take care everyone :)
Thank you very much @abigail-dantes! Glad that the post can be interesting or useful 😊
I will really try to continue with publishing the distilled on Mondays. However, this is tough and is largely connected to the amount of work on the research/teaching side. But I will try! :)
Well, whenever you manage to publish it's great for me :)
I honestly find your time management quite impressive.
You seem to be able to pack a lot in and tick many boxes of an endless to do list!!
And this morning I also published this. A STEMsocial verison may come up... in some days ^^
My point exactly! But ... after reading that (scary) title I prefer to wait for the STEMsocial version :)
Pseudo-scalars are nice beasts... don't worry :D
