Very educative piece.
When I was doing my urology postings... We had many patients with suspected BPH and Prostatic Cancer of which we had to perform biopsies to rule out either of them.
Many patients have little or no knowledge about their reproductive system and to some extent I don't blame them because it is not easy for someone in other fields to know much about health especially when the person hasn't suffered from it before

His PSA is still high actually... That's a point of concern in the above patient

Yes, the PSA is still extremely high.
I think they're going to do a biopsy too, because it's what defines what he really has by anatomopathological study.
But they are in the process of gathering resources for the rest of the studies.

Ignorance of your reproductive system is a problem, but I think it's part of the doctor's job to educate patients as well.
