Wormholes are consistent with the general theory of relativity from Einstein, but maybe wormholes actually exist or not remains to be seen till date,so to me I think it is a fiction and it is not real

I agree. Although wormhole is consistent with General Relativity, we have yet to prove it through detection or experiment.
