Greetings friends! Today I bring you a little post where we do stargazing and we will determine which are the first stars to be seen in the sky! Incredibly there are several stars that have magnitudes so small that they can be seen even in daylight! This fact seemed interesting to me to discover which are the first ones that I register during the night! I also have a surprise for you since we can see a planet! Do you know which one is closest to the sun? well we will learn this question in my post so make yourself comfortable and enjoy!🪐🌏🌍

As you can see I prepared my astronomical observation equipment that includes several photographic lenses, my 400mm telescope that is perfect for constellations and "big objects" like planets, among other accessories! I would like to clarify a point that is very important, the stars appear in the sky at different "times" because I am in the northern hemisphere and if you are in the southern hemisphere we would not be seeing the same things! imagine that today the sun set on the horizon and hours later you are seeing the eclipse of 04/30... Obviously if you were in the southern hemisphere! In conclusion, this little investigation is focused on the northern hemisphere in Portugal, exactly in the south of the country!👨‍🏫🪐

I took all my photographs with the two lenses of the telescope, one 20mm and the other 8mm, here you can see a photograph of the first constellation that appeared in the sky, it is Sirus and it belongs to "Canis Maior", among its most notable characteristics it stands out its magnitude of "-1.46"! Did you know that it is the brightest star in the night sky? wow!!! It made sense that she was the first to observe, she is also listed among one of the closest to us!😮🧠

After a few minutes another very bright star appeared in the night sky! It wasn't as bright as Sirius but it stood out among many others! It is Procyon and it is the brightest star in the Can minor constellation, its magnitude is: "+0.50", one of the descriptions that catches my attention is that it is the eighth brightest star in the sky! I managed to observe it even during the day!🚩🌏👨‍🎓

A very mysterious star with a different coloration! it is Almeisan to see it in the sky we must locate the constellation of "gemini" is its third brightest star! has a magnitude of "1.93"! wow this star is +160 brighter than our sun!🧠🔭

I think it's one of my favorites! is the famous betelgeuse, at this point the sky is no longer "clear" we are in a dark sky and we can see many more stars! but this one in particular catches my attention because of the brightness of it! it is a supergiant star and it looks similar to the sun! we are in the presence of the ninth star that shines the most in our sky and has a magnitude of: "-5.5", we get it in the constellation of "orion"😮🧠🔭

We pass to the constellation of Tauros and we find its 3rd brightest "Aldebaran" here we are describing the thirteenth brightest star in our night sky! has a magnitude of: "+0.85" its colors stand out for being orange-red🔭

This is a beautiful star and as we can see it has very different colors than the rest we have seen so far! we get it in the "hydra" constellation, it has a magnitude of "1.99", it is considered a "luminous" giant👨‍🏫😮

Then two stars of Gemini, Pollux and Castor, are observed in more detail in the sky, it is the alpha star of Gemini, that is, the brightest! Pollux has a magnitude of: "+1.09", so Castor is the Beta star of Gemini, that is, its second brightest has a magnitude of "+1.22"! something that may seem strange is that I saw stars that have lower magnitudes than other stars with less brightness! I think it's something interesting to deepen or I just didn't pay much attention and I missed some stars!😮🧠

I am very excited because for the first time I managed to photograph Mercury! Despite not being a great photo, I liked that I could see the star clusters that are around it! Mercury is the closest planet to the sun, it also stands out for being the smallest in our solar system! its appearance in photographs is similar to the surface of the moon!😍😍
