An Idea...

I have had an idea for a while that it would be a wise move for the human race to embed NFTs with the genetic code from various animals, with photos of the animals as the image and the name of the animal as the title. With the current state of the planet and the drive to be interplanetary, it just seems prudent to me that we should store the genetic information we have for our biosphere for the future. Maybe it is just me...

So today...

Since I am new to NFTs and I knew the WAX platform was pretty easy to work on, I chose to mint, as far as I know, the first-ever NFT as I described. I then posted to Twitter about the accomplishment, just as I am here. I did not put it up for sale as of yet and do not know that I will. It was more of a proof of concept right now, but I may move forward with the project, now that I know how to embed the zip file into the JPED image. Again, in this "Age of information," it would seem to be wise to have these in existence. You never know when they may come in handy...
