Fungal infection and my experience

avatar

I got a nasty fungal infection and it was driving me crazy. I am currently taking fluconazole as prescribed by the doctor and am recovering slowly. What I feel now is that the fungal infection does not want to leave my body and is being fought with the antifungal fluconazole. I need to take the necessary steps to completely eradicate the fungal infection. As a result researching about it was fruitful from which I learned a lot.

We certainly know that fungal infections are caused by the invasion of fungus. They live all around us in nature such as trees, floors, any surface, and animal bodies. An article from the CDC states that these fungi constantly enter our bodies and our immune system destroys them. But if our immune system is weak then it can't fight the fungal attack and it causes infection in our body. But if our immune system is weak then it can't prevent the fungal attack so it causes infection in our body. They say that fungal infections are not life-threatening. However, they refer to some diseases caused by fungi, such as skin infections, urinary tract infections, etc. However, fungal infection gradually weakens the immune system of the human body, which can be a threat to human health.

I started taking fluconazole to treat my fungal infection and the Fluconazole antifungal was very effective and worked well. But I accidentally took a small gap in the medicine and the infection grew in just two days. When I started taking fluconazole antifungal again, the disease worsened. What is the cause of increasing infection even after taking antifungal?I think this happens because the fungus wants to resist the antifungal drugs. Because of this, it reacts to the initiation of antifungal therapy, which increases the syndrome of infection. Later, when antifungals prevail, these syndromes tend to subside and the fungal infection tends to heal.

I learned from another CDC article that fungal infections can develop resistance to antifungals in the same way that antibiotics develop resistance to bacteria. When antifungals don't work on a fungal infection, it's likely that the dosage is too low or the wrong antifungal is being used. There are some fungi that are not cured with fluconazole. One such fungus is called Aspergillus fungus. Fluconazole should not be used in infections caused by the fungus Aspergillus because it will not work and the infection will continue to grow. Antifungals should not be used in sick people because their immune system is extremely weakened. The use of antifungals on these sick individuals can lead to strong resistance to fungal infections. The correct dosage and proper use of antifungals help to get rid of fungal infections which can otherwise be reversed.

I found fluconazole to be the perfect medicine to prevent fungal infections. This medicine cures vaginal thrush, skin, thrush in the mouth and blood infection etc. It can even be used in people with weak immune systems. It works against yeast type fungi known as common fungal infections. My fungal infection is slowly healing. It seems like it will take a long time to fully heal. Medicines may need to be changed halfway through taking this dose. Of course, if I recover quickly, I won't change the antifungal. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

I’m glad you found the right treatment to heal the infection. Do you know how you contacted the fungal infection?
