Barycenter, Earth does not orbit the Sun but orbits the barycenter | Cosmology

We generally know that the Earth revolves around the Sun with its center. If we are correct, the sun does not revolve around the earth. Is your head hurting after hearing this? Yes, that's what science says. Now the question is if the earth does not revolve around the sun, then what does it revolve around? The answer is Barycenters. This Barycenter is discussed in detail below.

First, let's talk a little about the center of mass. It will be easy to understand. Center of mass is the point at which the total mass of an object acts. For example, you take a ruler. Find a point on this ruler at which a string is tied so that both ends are at the same height. This point is the center of mass.

The center of mass of a rular is between its two ends and is equidistant from the two ends. But the center of mass of a hammer will be near the iron part of the hammer because iron has more mass.

Similarly the center of mass of an object may not lie within this object. such as the center of mass of a circular object.

If we throw any object it creates a trajectory. And this trajectory will be along the center of mass. Other ends of the object can cause random trajectories. which does not indicate the exact direction of flow of material. But the trajectory of the object's center of mass will be the same as that of a sphere. When a ruler is thrown, its two ends cause random trajectories but its center of mass lies in the correct trajectory of the object.

Ok now we are able to understand about center of mass. Now it's time to get down to business. There is a barycenter between two objects in space. The barycenter is closer to the more massive of the two objects. Just like the center of mass of the hammer. If two objects are of equal mass then the barycenter will be between them.

You know that some exoplanets are located near bright stars. The brightness of the star makes these planets difficult to find. The exoplanet is then found using the barycenter. Because exoplanets wobbling around the barycenter.

The barycenter between the sun and the earth is not located at the center of the sun This bary center is located inside the sun and outside the center of the sun Similarly, Bary Center of Earth and Moon is not located at the center of Earth This is because the mass of the Earth is much greater than that of the Moon. Again, the mass of the sun is much greater than the earth, so the barycenter of the sun and the earth is located inside the sun, but not at the center Jupiter's mass is much greater but less than that of the Sun Hence its Bary Center lies outside the Sun

You have heard the name Binary Star Two binary stars have almost the same mass And they orbit each other. Their Bany Center is right in the middle of these two stars. That is, the barycenter of these two stars is equidistant from them. As the center of gravity of a scale is in the middle.

Again all the members of our solar system together make a Bary Center around which all the planets of the solar system and even the sun rotate. That is, our Earth does not revolve around the Sun but rather around the Barycenter.

You know that some exoplanets are located near bright stars. The brightness of the star makes these planets difficult to find. The exoplanet is then found using the barycenter. Because exoplanets wobbling around the barycenter.

Do you believe in barycenter? i believe Science tells us so. A more massive object attracts a less massive object just as a less massive object attracts a more massive object. As a result of the gravitational force on it, objects with less mass move more and objects with more mass move less. The movement of more massive objects is very slight towards smaller objects. This is because objects with greater mass are closer to the barycenter so they don't have to move as much and objects with less mass are farther away from the barycenter so they have to move more. So it is proved that this theory about barycenter is 100% correct

Woah it's new to me to hear about barycenter, I think it's one of the accepted explanations. The Center of gravity is always to look at if we need to balance the object, in terms of the sun and earth the mass isn't equal that's why the center of gravity is located at the sun which had a greater mass.

Of course, Barycenter theory is most important. All objects that exist in space obey the Barycenter theory
