Starving, Not a Great Option for Weigth Loss

The number of young ladies starving themselves on a daily basis just to get into shape and look immensely skinny for reasons best known to them is becoming increasingly alarming. You see children on the street looking skinny as a result of hunger and malnutrition, there is also the adult who is comfortable and has sufficient to eat and eat appropriately, subjecting herself to immense hunger.

The only concern I have with this action, is, is this action safe for the pretty lady in question and is she even aware of the danger she may be subjecting herself to? To answer this questions, is the reason why I have decided to publish this content, for the sake of the people who may be putting themselves in such a condition right now.

Intermittent fasting is never the same as starving, the two terms should not be confused for another. Intermittent fasting is a developed eating habit that some people engage in, this habit makes them cycle between eating and fasting days. Some people carry out this fasting pattern for spiritual purpose, others for health purpose, amongst other several reasons. A good example of intermittent fasting is holding on from eating within 16 hours and eating within the next 8 hours of the day.

Starvation, on the other hand, is an extended time frame of not having food or water, for consumption, or when the level of calories consumed is below the body requirements.

Losing weight is attached with calorie deficiency, the act of loosing calories could be through serious exercise or from consuming a lower amount of calories from food. It is, however, good to know that, depriving yourself of calories doesn't necessarily translate to instant weight loss, there may be some experienced weight loss at the beginning but the weight loss, is not usually sustainable.

When there is a long case of calorie deprivation, the body begins to make use of fat stored as a primary source of energy, and the muscle and skeletal tissue as the secondary source of energy. Along the line, the body begins to respond to the act of calorie deprivation, this is done through the reduction in the level of resting metabolic rate (RMR) through adaptive thermogenesis. When this happens, the body becomes ultimately less effective at the calorie burning process, this it does with the significant effort of trying to preserve as much energy as possible.

There is starvation in humans, when there is a case of extreme malnourishment, especially found in people who have completely burned every fat they have in them, at this rate, the muscles have started to get burned up as well, this is why starvation should be avoided at all cost.

According to Lambert, no one should try to lose more than two pounds of weight in one week.

Depending greatly on how severe the process of starvation has gotten, the level of restricted calories, and the time, the body could begin to prioritize essential functions of the body such as; heart rate functionality, breathing and even the slow-down of nonessential bodily processes.

Reproductive health: Regular menstrual cycle may get affected.

Immunity: The immune system may find it much more difficult to fight against forms of illnesses and infections.

Hair and nail growth: With excessive starvation, the nails and the hair may become brittle.

Intensified hunger: Irregular or intensified hunger becomes a really pronounced situation, there is also a case of recurring bloating and stomach discomfort.

Skin condition: There may be prolonged wound healing associated with premature aging.

Bone health: With intense starvation, the bone may become weak.

Putting the body under intense starvation, can also affect mental health condition, developed wired eating habit, at this rate, medical help should be sought instantly.

Instead of starving yourself to lose weight, there are other things that could be done to lose weight without affecting your health.

Weight lifting: Persistence exercise is one of the most viable ways to loose weight. While weight lifting is a good option, other body weight exercise would do a lot of good. Through studies, weight loss have been discovered to reduce muscle mass, but persistent exercise, would help ensure that muscle mass and metabolic rates are maintained.

High protein content: Protein is a very strong macronutrient when it comes to weight loss, great level of protein intake would help in appetite reduction and metabolism boost. The bonus of weight loss associated with protein intake is certain, without necessarily starving yourself.

Take a break from diet: Taking a few days off diet plan is another way to lose weight, during those days of taking a break, there is usually a slight change in diet plan, briefly above the usual, then it continues from there.

Some people even take unhealthy herbs, without neccessarily knowing the appropriate source, the moment it is promised to help them loose weight, they just jump on it. Instead of putting your health in danger, why don't you speak with a health official to walk you through the best and safe way to help you lose weight without putting your health in danger, based on what your body can adapt with, this medical expert will help you choose a safe weight loss routine that is good for you.

Conclusion.

Understandably, not everyone has a natural slim body, there are people who would eat so much, and do not have a clear exercise routine but they still have a very slim and attractive body, on the other hand, there are others who subject themselves to starving but still cannot get as slim as they want. As explained in this post, starving can be described as being excessive with your weight loss plan, choose a plan that sits appropraitely with your health and medical status by speaking with a health practitioner. You can loose weight without putting your health at risk.

I wonder how people will just get starved on a daily basis just because they feel like reducing weight. Do they know that they may be inviting sicknesses like ulcers into their body system? I love the idea you presented.
