I think countries are seeking more cheaper but accurate version of their rapid test kit. I am not sure what is the cost of rapid test in another countries but in Indonesia it starts from 5$ to 16$ depending where you take it. Some Indonesian scientist have tried to develop something they call Rapid Test 2.0 which only takes 15 minutes and with cheaper price. The other day I read a new development of rapid test called GeNose university website not in english which claims could detect Covid19 only in 80 seconds through breath.

Interesting. We will see better innovations as time goes by with each country trying to solve the problems that are peculiar to them. I just hope that scientists are not only focusing on cutting costs and reducing turnaround time but also improving the accuracy of results. The psychological trauma of having to deal with a false-positive result is something I would not want to experience.
