I finally have found time to pass by this post. Sorry about that. As said in my last blog, last week was complicated and I was quite off chain... I was not disappointed to have kept your blog as something to read later. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Those pictures are really beautiful. This reminds me that we have an amazing crystal collection in my university. See here for their main page in French, the English version being not so well described and quite outdated, and there for their Facebook page. I am planning to organise a visit for first year students in 15 days. I will try to take a few pictures of the most impressive pieces and I could share them if you are interested in them.

On the material physics side, there is indeed still a lot to learn with crystals. I know people working on glasses and material under extreme conditions of temperature and pressure. However, this is very far from my domain of expertise... and I have thus not much to say ;)

Cheers!

The collection is sure a sight to see! I definitely look forward to you sharing pictures from the visit. I wonder how old some of those crystals are. The Beauties of chemistry! Thanks for always taking time to go through my posts, the support from the community has been amazing! @StemSocial is literally home to me on HIVE!
