The mosquito-borne disease malaria is life-threatening.
Hello friends how are you all? I hope you are very well. Almost all of us know about malaria disease. It is a deadly disease. We will learn about this disease and its origin. We will learn about who discovered it and how. Hope you all like it.
Before the 18th century, people did not know how harmful malaria disease is to humans. This disease is transmitted by a mosquito. Scientist Ronald Ross was born in 1857 in a village in the foothills of the Himalayas in India. He proved the immunity of polluted water and discovered the germ of malaria. The role of the scientist who discovered malaria is presented below. Basically, he is the discoverer of this disease. Almost all of us know that malaria is a deadly non-bacterial disease. It is usually spread by mosquitoes. There are various diseases caused by mosquitoes in our human society. All the diseases outside the mosquitoes harm the people and spread various diseases in the society.
Ronald Ross was an Indian. So he achieved success after extensive research on the germs of malaria at the Presidency Hospital in Kolkata. Basically, his success made people know about malaria and what measures should be taken for it. He told everyone. He proved the turbidity of polluted water. He was the first to explain the disease to people and tell people what causes it. He made some people drink contaminated water in exchange for money and wrote that they had stomach ache instead of malaria.
Although the disease is transmitted by mosquitoes in remote mountainous areas, it took Dr. Ross a long time to determine which type of mosquito bites malaria. For this he had a lot of patience and he started more research about it. In view of his research, he first kept the affected patient in a mosquito net and released a few mosquitoes inside the mosquito net. Then he placed a healthy person in the place of the patient in the mosquito. Seeing that the healthy person was infected with the same disease, he observed the blood of the patient and concluded that the female Anopheles mosquito was responsible for the disease. In fact, it was the first discovery of malaria that took him to great heights.
The virus was found by testing the blood of mosquitoes that had bitten an infected patient. Later, he won the Nobel Prize in 1902 for the discovery that all healthy people bitten by that mosquito would get malaria. Therefore, public awareness about malaria disease in Bangladesh has developed. People know about this disease. Especially in the countries of South Asia, there are many outbreaks of this malaria disease, due to which people can die. There are many patients in Dhaka Medical in Bangladesh who are suffering from this malaria disease. Also, almost every hospital in the country has malaria patients who are suffering from this disease at some time of the year.
These were some of my writings about malaria. Hope you all like it. Of course you will comment.
