Welcome once agaim to my daily blog. Its amazing on how far we have come in terms of science. When you look at the stone age and compare it now, you would clearly see the vast change in our lives. This is mostly because of discoveries and breakouts that are made by scientists almost everyday. I believe that in a few years to come, most of the things we consider impossible today, will become possible. Today i want to share with you some discoveries i bet you didnt know about.

Creation of Human Organs

Creation of human organs, yeah thats right. Scientists have found a breakthrough in thier subsequent attempts to create fully functional human organs…. Thats crazy right? Remember the times when some people had to kick the bucket because they couldn’t get a donor or someone to donate his or her kidney to save his life? Well this breakthrough, scientists have found ways of genetically creating a kidney using the stem cells of the patient in the lab.

When they brow the patients bladder, they use a 3D printing technique to print them into correct shape and sizes after which they are implanted into the patient. This is a relatively long procedure it takes about two months to be fully complete. But it worth the wait. Other organs that can be grown are Ears, Vagirna, red blood cells, Organiod hearts, and skin. Further research also shows that scientists were able to successful create and transfuse red blood cells into humans.

Getting Meat without actually Slaughtering The Animal

Well if scientists can create human organs how difficult would obtaining meat be?, this actually is similar to the organ creation. Can imagine a world where we can eat meat without actually killing the animal? Sounds cool. This actually is done Meatable is a dutch startup, that have found ways of growing meat of any species.

This is achieved the using stemcells from the umbilical cord of the animal they wish to grow. And after a few months, the meat would be ready. I have found out that its very difficult to differentiate the real deal from the one that was created in the lab. This tells you how good it is.

Cancer Vaccine

About quite a number of people have died due to cancer. Cancer can come in many forms, skin cancer, lung cancer, rectum cancer and many more. Last year, a scientific discovery was made at the Stanford University School of Medicine where they were able to kill off all traces of cancer when they injected two immune stimulanting agents into sloid tumors.

Though this haven’t been tried on humans yet. But if proven to be successful, this could be great news to humanity. Because we could easily take the vaccine and be protected from cancer. Maybe Mankind would live longer.

Controlling a Robotic Arm/Leg with your mind

Im sure most of us have seen this in the movies, what if i told you that its now possible to be able to do that. Victims of acidents or patients who have thier arms, legs or any part of their body amputed can have a robot arm fixed and with the gelp of bionic chips, they can be able to control the robotic arms with thier minds.

This breakthrough was tried on a patient named Zac Vawter who had his leg amputated and was fixed with a robotic arm which he was able to control just like he could with his original leg. Science is making our lives much more simpler. With breakouts happening daily, who knows hopefull you can be able to time travel. And do some things we taught were not possible.
