So there are number of disorders associated with menses that women should be aware of and should consult a doc if they are experiencing any of them, some of them includes :

Oligomenorrhea: it means infrequent periods or if cycle is longer than 35 days.

Polymenorrhea : it means frequent periods Or a cycle shorter than 21 days.

Menorhhagia: it means heavy bleeding, more than usual and they have to change their pads more frequently.

Dysmenorrhea : pain is a kind of normal thing during periods but if it's more than what you usually used to experience or if it's really messing up your daily routine work than it's not normal.
