Really interesting project! Unfortunately, I don't have time to participate in the project at the moment. But I support Citizen Science through BOINC and Gridcoin =)

Thanks for your support to all these citizen scientific projects (I know they exist but I have never taken the time to dig into them in details; shame on me).

For the present project on Hive, an hour or two per week is in principle sufficient (you can check with @agreste, @eniolw, @gentleshaid, @isnochys, @metabs, @servelle or @travelingmercies to get more detailed information about the time it takes). I don't know if this could be a game changer for you. This depends strongly on how full your diary is. However, feel free to embark on later on. All episodes are well documented, which leaves the option to anyone to start from scratch at any moment (at least before the project is finished, which may be in 6 months or so).

Cheers!

At this point in time I think I will just follow your progress. Maybe I can hop-in later =)

Oh! I used Boinc for a while long time ago to use some of my computer power for SETI amd some other programs and I really find it a great idea.

Very cool! What's the reason you don't run BOINC anymore? There are still great projects to support. For example, World Community Grid has projects on cancer research and SiDock@home is looking for drugs against covid.

I was about to ask the same question. Let's see what the answer will be ;)
