😬.....geeezz, quarter of the year is almost gone. It's quite funny how time appears to be flying, i guess it's because there seemed to be too many events happening in this relatively short period or it could be something else or few of us like me seeing it that way. All in all, we must remember time is but a relative thing.

Alright enough of the gibberish talk and back to business. Welcome back to another exciting episode of our weekly digest from the science and technology space. Below are some of the interesting reports you may have missed, enjoy.

The Definition of Life Is Bad and Doesn't Make Sense

As if trying to understand consciousness isn't enough, it also happens that life which most believes to precede consciousness is actually ill-defined. In other words, scientists are still struggling to define life. For example, which happens to be a very popular one, if metabolism is essential for the definition of life, can viruses be considered non-living ? - this is regardless of them being in a living host or not.
This however, is just one of the many definitions that seem to have their own downfall. Why don't you slide in here and join leading researchers in pondering this great mystery of what life actually is.

A Man Is Living 100 Days Underwater. It May Do Extraordinary Things to His Body.

I wonder if he plans on becoming a real life Aquaman - just kidding. πŸ˜‚

Well, as we are all aware, our health deteriorates as we get older (grandparent level) but in this report, a researcher who happens to be relatively old thinks he can become superhuman by staying under water for quite a long time (3 months plus) - without resurfacing, and also setting a world record.
😳
Is he bloody insane ?
Well, that's how it may first seem but.....keep reading to find out more.

This 'electronic tattoo' can tell when you're stressed out

Welcome to the digital age, where the letter "e" has become a household letter, congratulations on your achievements Mr. e.
email, e-commerce, e-dictionary, e-wallet, e-book and e-e.t.c. πŸ˜‚
As if those aren't enough, now we have e-tattoos, except that these tattoos have been upgraded to do other functions, like....continue reading. I guess i better get mine before i hulk out and smash somebody's face. 😁

Scientists make 'disturbing' find on remote island: plastic rocks

There are a lot of reasons why plastic is mostly chosen over other kinds of materials to make some of our important tools, the most popular reasons being it's cheapness and lightness. However, just like every other thing, it also has it's own downside, not all plastics are degradable and recyclable, which can lead to pollution of the environment. And now, through pollution by us, we may have just triggered another kind of geological evolution. I present to you my brethren "plastic rocks" - nature has been able to use plastics to form....keep reading. I wonder if we would eventually have plastic "sands" and some new breed of organisms. πŸ€”

Large asteroid coming close, but zero chance of hitting us

Does this report remind you of something ?

Well for me, it reminds me of the dinosaur incident, the asteroid that caused the extinction of virtually all the dinosaurs. However, no need to panic, as it has been estimated that this asteroid which happens to be the size of a city 😳 has zero chance of hitting us though it would be close....keep reading. Consider yourselves lucky for now Earthlings, the next encounter may be life threatening. πŸ˜‰

It is here we conclude today's report, have a thoughtful day and till i come your way again next week.
