In one of my previous posts - about three weeks ago, a puzzle was presented about one of my future posts coming on a very special day of this month.
Do you remember ?
If you've forgotten, then see here

Merry Christmas everyone and today is that special day. Well, due to the way this year had turned out to be, some of us may not be celebrating that much. For those of us that would, do well to share with your neighbors who can't. Because guess what, irrespective of any form of boundaries, we are all one very big family of mother Earth.
So, welcome to another exciting episode of our weekly science and technology reports, which also happens to be the last for the year 2022. So sit back, relax and enjoy.

Do You Speak Extraterrestrial ?

In one of our previous reports, we presented a research on a new possible reason why extraterrestrials haven't made themselves known to us and how to make them reveal themselves.
But have we for once stopped to think how our response would be when they eventually reveal themselves ?
Or better still, are we ready to meet them ?
In sci-fi movies/stories, the interaction between we humans and extraterrestrials, especially those more advanced is normally portrayed as invasive, they just want to colonize us and take over our planet. However, how we approach them at first meeting could be a very deciding factor, especially for them. One of the factors on how we approach them is being able to understand their language and they understanding ours. In this report, an organization comprising a group of researchers have been developed to help tackle these challenges, thus promoting peaceful coexistence and also prevent what we see in movies. 6 Times Quantum Physics Blew Our Minds in 2022

It's been almost a century since the inception of quantum mechanics - the theory of the atomic/subatomic world, and we are yet to fully grasp it's underpinnings. As if that isn't enough, scientists/physicists are still making more quantum discoveries that keeps challenging our mundane understanding of the world, though they are also fascinating.
In this report, a researcher gives a compilation and highlight of some of the very interesting and mind-bending quantum discoveries of 2022 which some of us may have missed.
In our classical world, a game involving two participants usually requires both players being aware of each other's actions - this helps to make further decisions until there's a winner. But in one of the compilations, a game for two participants was developed that requires winning without being aware of your opponents action, it's like a part of the game is invisible - that of your opponent. Another way of viewing it, is winning a game against your opponent without playing the game.
Wait, what in the bloody hell is that ? ๐Ÿ˜ณ
You can call it telepathy but it's all thanks to quantum entanglement. There are however other mind-bending discoveries.....read more to find out.

Wi-Fi could help identify when you're struggling to breathe

So, imagine on a certain night you and your family members are having a peaceful night sleeping and your phone suddenly rings, you pick up the phone, only to find out that it's a notification telling you that a family member is having breathing issues. Wouldn't that be life saving ?
But come to think of it, how was the phone able to find out ? ๐Ÿค”
Hmmm......keep reading to find out.

Three time dimensions, one space dimension: Relativity of superluminal observers in 1+3 spacetime

Much of modern cosmology owes a lot of dept to Albert Einstein, thanks to his infamous theory of general relativity but this theory wouldn't have been possible if not for another theory he developed earlier - special relativity. One consequence of Einstein's theory of special relativity is that nothing can move faster than the vacuum speed of light, otherwise there would be paradoxes. So therefore, subluminal motions and observers are allowed in our classical world. However, in the quantum world there seems to be a possible violation, an example being quantum entanglement of which Einstein in his own words described as "spooky action at a distance". In other words, there seems to be a possibility of faster than light/superluminal events in spacetime.
What if Einstein's theory of special relativity is half the whole story of a more complete special relativity ?
Maybe this could explain why developing a viable theory of quantum gravity has eluded the best of minds in physics. Theories involving superluminal speeds are often dismissed by the physics community because of the paradoxes it raises but in this report, some researchers have taken the bold step in developing an extension of Einstein's theory of special relativity that incorporates superluminal reference frames - the supposed missing part of Einstein's theory, and avoids raising paradoxes. Surprisingly, they discovered a lot of interesting implications, which i personally like.....read more

How Glass Frogs Weave the Worldโ€™s Best Invisibility Cloak

In the animal kingdom, there are two kinds of individuals, the predators and the prey - the former hunts the latter for food. The preys unfortunately can be mischievous by nature but for a relatively good reason - survival. They pull of certain kinds of tricks to conceal themselves from their respective predators, one notable example is through camouflage. Some have permanent camouflages while some others have temporal ones which depends on their immediate environment, chameleons are great examples.
But have you ever heard of a glass frog ?
These guys pull off one of the best deceptive tricks in probably the whole of the animal kingdom and i personally think that they deserve an award for it. You can almost literally see through them - near invisibility, when they are at sleep.
Wait, what ? ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Of course, why else would they have the word "glass" attached to their name.
In this report, researchers have discovered how they do it, part of it being death-defying (what seems to be a mystery to scientists), in other words, if we did it we would be long dead.
Do you wish to know how they do it, especially the death-defying part and more ?
Then find it all out here

Whales Could Be a Valuable Carbon Sink โ€“ Nature-Based Solutions To Fight Climate Change

Currently, we seem to be facing a crisis that threatens our existence and it's non other than climate change but do you know what directly causes it ?
Very easy, global warming, which is also a green house effect. However, there are substances that can directly lead to a green house effect and they are mostly carbon based, the most popular being carbon dioxide.
Did you know that there are natural ways of removing excess carbon dioxide from our atmosphere, thus reducing green house effects. One way is by planting a lot of trees.
Are you surprised ?
Well, you shouldn't be and it's because trees which are also plants need carbon dioxide for photosynthesis - do you remember now ?
In this recent report, scientists have proposed a new way of further reducing carbon dioxide from our atmosphere and it's with the help of whales - the largest animals on our planet.
But wait a minute, whales are known to take in oxygen, so how would they be of any help ?
๐Ÿค”.....hmmm
Well, the only way to know is to keep reading - those of you that go to hunt whales be very careful, I'm warning you.๐Ÿ˜‚

It is here we conclude today's report, have a thoughtful day and till i come your way again next year.

Thank you all once again for stopping by to read my jargons and also thank you @stemng, @lemouth and the @Steemstem team for your valuable supports.

I am still struggling to believe in Wi-Fi could help identify when you're struggling to breathe ๐Ÿ™‚

It's not had to believe if you are familiar with the operations of radars, though more studies are needed, especially with regards to body orientations during breathing. Did you read the main article ?
