Is Artificial intelligence Really Good?
So much buzz and noise going on about artificial intelligence that has gained ground recently. So many people have aired their perspective about it whether it is bad or good. Some view it as a good Development technological wise and even though that can be proven true or false depending on the reasons backing it up. And also some believe it is a bad development and same thing they have their reasons for it. The truth of the matter is in whatever way you look at it, you can see it to be right or wrong. The way the world is getting civilising and developing is just outrageous. If you will tell me that 10 years ago, the world will solely depend on the internet world like this, I wihavelly denied it but here we are.
In fact, in the last decades, the debate on artificial intelligence was not solid because even though people see it might come up in the future but not this fast. Artificial intelligence is gaining massive ground and creating a shock wave around the world. One of them is the chatbot that is trending. Yes, a lot has been said about it and debates have also been established about it. Some platforms have started a war against any chatbot content. Examples like hive and some platforms do not see any issue there. One of them is YouTube. Yea, people now usechatuse chatbots for their YouTube content.
Back to what I am saying, in as much as we are celebrating the advantage artificial intelligence has brought to the marketIttt cannot be denied that it has made the world easier. People have been able to do and achieve a lot from artificial intelligence. I have seen the beauty of AI ranging from the fact that it can help in writing articles, helps in the creation of robots and automation machines and many more. In fact and many more. But does that mean in as much as we can see the good side, we should neglect the bad side? No, I don't think so and that's what is making our society to be ignorant of the bad side of artificial intelligence.
This new technology advancement has made a lot of people do work easier and g things done but it is also causing harmfuleffectst. Works have now become easier for those internet fraudsters because of the advanced tools. People now find it easy to dump people online which is not so as before. That's not only the one, in fact as a result of the development of artificial intelligence, people have started to lose their job that has been sustaining them. Yes if you don't know, artificial intelligence has started making people lose their jobs. They have begun to see the work being replaced by AI thereby creating unemployment.
There are many more. One of it also is the creation of sophisticated robots for dangerous and evil use by countries or even individuals which was not so as before. I can keep mentioning more and more but trust me, it will not be enough. Am I against AI? No, I just feel there should be a balance and society should pay close attention to also the other negative side of AI so that we can be able to balance it and in the long run, we will not be carried away. That's the aim. The moment we are just focusing on the positivity of artificial intelligence, our eyes will not open to see the negativity and we will not be able to deal with it before it spread all across the world.
And that might be devastating to the world we are living in now. Artificial intelligence is here to stay but we need to manage the other negative side of it for the long run to be sustained.
Well, I will agree with your points to some extent. But do you believe that adjustments are being made to ensure that people make useful use of AI every day? Although at this starting point, we may not see the whole impact of AI management but time will tell.
