Drug abuse simple means been addicted to a particular drug just to have pleasure.
People who abuse drugs keeps on increasing the dosage just to get satisfaction.
I remembered a friend of mine who started with 50mg of tramadol gradually he was so addicted the he kept on increasing the dosage till he to 500mg of tramadol, gradually he got to 2000mg not daily but hourly, this really changed his life and made him lost his mental health.
Drugs abuse has been a very difficult thing to handle, presently in my country some medications are under ban because of alot of abuse going on but the addicts often finds other means of satisfying thier longings.
This has destabilized so many youth, some got insane while some end up living under the bridge because they use all thier earnings for drug.

Alcohol abuse is the most common drug abuse around us, some people who abuse alcohol don't not even accept the fact that they are addicts.
Some people feel that they just need alcohol to survive on daily basis not knowing that it has a lot of consequences to the body.
Alcohol abuse reduces heart rate, it's affect the liver functions and also can lead to untimely death.Benzodiazepines abuse is another type of drug abuse in the world today, same as alcohol this drug slows down body movement including heart rate and can affect some other part of the body.
Cocaine is another type of drugs abuse and it's highly addictive, some people inject it or smoke it, it's in a powder form and it's extracted from coco plant.
There so many other forms of drug abuse in different parts of the world and everyday those involved keeps on formulating a new form of drug abuse.
Let's talk about the causes to drug abuse briefly.
Many youth became addicts as a result of peer pressure from school or the environment they live.
Some people became addicts because of the challenges they face in life and they misled themselves by thinking that addiction will be a solution.
Some addicts are mentally disorder while some inherited it from thier family, some also become addicted to drugs at the early age of thier life.
Consequences of drug abuse
There is limit to everything we do under the sun, once we cross that limit it doesn't go well.
Drug abuse has taken so many people life, some turned mad while some are suffering from severe lifetime sickness like stroke, seizure and brain damage.
Some has been diagnosed with kidney stones and kidney failure.
