Algae Bio Fuel
With the extreme usage of our natural resources, mainly the natural gas that has been reserved for billions of years, It does affect the changes in our environment and contributes to the catastrophic effects of climate change and global warming. To mitigate and adapt to different environmental issues, many experts have invented different renewable sources of energy that are also eco-friendly and alternatives to non-renewable energy. Upon researching for our capstone project in stem, we came across this kind of product that we have seen on the internet, which can help reduce the usage of natural gas or oil and help regulate the earth's rising temperature. We all know that as the temperature continues to rise, it will be difficult to change again. So many scientists were protesting to at least hear their voice about the alarming destruction of our planet and to save the earth and the next generation.
In order to gain gas or oil, needed for modern day technologies and advancements, it really needs and costs a lot of oil that can be seen beneath the earth's surface. And more on that, in order to create gases and oil, the burning of coal has been a process that emits lots of carbon dioxide, which is mainly the reason why there is climate change happening on earth.
To help the earth's environmental problems, an alternative method of producing bio fuel or gas has been developed using algae. Algae is a protist which also creates oil from the sun's energy and water. It has been found that the oil in it can be extrated and can be used to make an alternative gas or bio fuel and be a substitute for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
This algae biofuel may really help sustain the needs of everyone without relying on non-renewable gases or energy. Many people knew about this kind of method and many of them made money from it. There is production of algae in some countries and making it a source of energy such as fuel, and this kind of action may really help to stop the ongoing catastrophic effects of climate change and global warming. And it should require the people in some countries to take action and make this kind of renewable energy to lessen the earth's malady.
In order to save future generations, we should be part of some climate protest and educate people about the importance of mother earth to human beings. It is very clear that throughout human existence, continous defamation of the earth's ecosystem has been made. And it should be stopped sooner, but as of now there is still no change in the perspective of some people about nature. We are here just once, and we should take care of it now.
