The knee joint is a very important joint in the body and osteoarthritis of the knee greatly affects the patient's quality of life.
Knee replacement surgery is a good surgical option. I have witnessed a couple of the procedure though it's not an easy one to all concerned, both the surgeons and the patient.

Surely not an easy procedure friend, a great deal of communication is needed between surgeon and patient to get a successful one.
