Matemáticas , algo cotidiano que todo humano tiene en su existencia desde que nace , pero el ingenio también tiene un reconocimiento , solo tener un titulo y menciones honorificas , sino ser reconocido como el mejor en el mundo en Números , La Medalla Fields , es el mas importante de un matemático , no solo están los Pulitzer y Nobel , así que les traje este post .

MEDALLA FIELDS

Fue en 1936 , el máximo galardón que da la unión de matemáticas internacional , en honor a John Charles Fields , un matemático con descubrimientos y doctorados , también fue profesor universitario . Esta medalla honorifica , se da ha matemáticos menores de 40 años , se entrega a dos personas máximo y fue creada por la falta de categoría de los nobel , en matemáticas .

Entre sus características , es de oro , tiene grabada la cara de Arquímedes , unas letras en latín , que dicen : Transire suum pectus mundoque potiri ( ir mas allá de uno mismo y dominar el mundo) , diseñada en 1933 por Robert Mckenzie .

La primera medalla se dio en 1990 a Shigefumi Mori , Japón Universidad kioto y la primera mujer fue Maryam Mirzajani en el 2014 . Existe una lista de ganadores que data hasta el 2018 , por pandemia fueron suspendidos se piensan que serán retomados este año , estos se entregan en diciembre cada 4 años .

Su vida se resumen que sus logros y éxitos , así que acá un poco de la vida de este importante matemático que hoy en día hace honor a este prestigioso premio . Se graduó en Hamilton Collegite en 1880 y luego 1884 se gradúa en Toronto . Su tesis , Titulada soluciones simbólicas infinitas y soluciones por integrales definidas de la ecuación dny/ dxn = xmy , recibiendo en 1887 su doctorado . Fue profesor en la universidad de Toronto y director del comité Royal Society , impulso a Canadá como sede de congreso de matemáticas en su ciudad natal . Quería que existiera un premio donde la matemáticas fueran valoradas y ya que existía el nobel , el en vida deseaba crear uno , que jamás pudo realizar , pero que dejo antes de morir 47.000 dólares de fondo y la creación de la medalla. Actualmente solo la ha ganado en otra mención Física 1990, Edward Wintter , actualmente profesor de estudios avanzados de princeton , su aporte de teorías de cuerdas , teorías cuánticas de campo y partículas elementales .

• El consejo internacional para la ciencia ICSU , son distinciones que son las mas altas de matemáticas medalla fields , han sido entregadas desde 1936 .

• Premio Nevinnalina 1981 , fue establecido por la IMU , aspectos matemático de la computación , en el 2019 se le cambio el nombre a Premio Abacus.

• Premio Carl Frederich Gauss 2006 , a diferencia del fields no tiene limite de edad.

• Premio Medalla Chern 2010, en honor al matemático chino Shiing-shen chern

• Premio Abel 2002 , ya que Alfred Nobel , no tenia una distención en matemática , el rey de noruega creo este premio en honor al matemático Niels Henrik Abel .

• Premio Wolf 1978 , por el inventor Ricardo Wolf , este premio tiene varias categorías : Matemáticas , química , física , arte , agricultura y medicina .

• Premio Schock 1993 , El artista Rolf Schock creo este premio , y tiene varias categorías : Matemática , filosofía , arte musicales y lógica .
