Hello @gentleshaid, Thank you for this helpful article. I would like to add a bit of information, from personal experience. My granddaughter, who is 15, was tested, PCR test. She is in school, split schedule home/ virtual, and was experiencing some intestinal issues (which in an adolescent that age may be the first or only symptom). It was a Thursday evening that my daughter decided to have her tested. We live in New York State, USA. I looked online for free testing centers. She could have gone that night but went on Friday evening. On Saturday she received her result--negative. This is possible if the government devotes enough resources and takes the virus seriously. In my state, where so many died early on, the governor is showing everyone how this can be done.
I wish the U.S., and every place, could mimic this efficiency. So many lives could be saved.
Thank you again for highlighting this important issue.
Regards,
AG

Thank you for taking out time to read and contribute to my article. I initially thought that the problem of cost of testing and time for results to come out was peculiar to the developing countries only as I've not heard anyone from developed countries complained of such, until this your comment. I believe with constant research and technological advancement, things will get better with time. How long it would take is what I do not know.
