When I was very young, we shared a house with a very practical lady who kept chickens. All I can remember about the chickens is that the lady would chop their heads of. She would do it with a complete absence of emotion. As I said, a very practical lady :) It was dreadful to see.
I like chickens also, and I enjoyed your blog

That's a little but too practical for me, damn. I like chicken meat as much as the next man but sometimes, I kind of feel bad that animals die for my meals.
I take solace in the fact that I see the same animals kill and eat other animals. So I'm just part of a food chain
