P2E CREW

In a space that is supposed to be centralized, I sometimes wonder who is at the top of the “food chain”. Over a little over five years writing here (since the time of Steemit), I've come across several types of polemics. Personally speaking, I've never been involved in any of them, but I've already had some problems due to the fact that I wasn't aware of information about some episodes that led me to mistakes. Everything is a matter of learning and being willing to seek out the information, read, understand and practice what is right.

Once understood, I internalize the concepts and put my knowledge into practice to deliver texts that satisfy me and my readers. In the midst of this current turmoil involving the topic of “artificial intelligence”, I have already seen some users being punished for allegedly using this type of resource (in particular, ChatGPT) to produce texts. The big question is: To what extent is the use of AI acceptable?

Considering that ChatGPT is a “new version of Google” (which someday could potentially be stronger than we can all imagine), at some point or another, all Hive users will use it for some certain type of subject. I wonder what the criteria would be to unite the users who are making use of this tool and how this will impact the future of Hive as an ecosystem, after all, the system depends (in general) on the users and everything they produce for keep the gear running properly.

As much as the Hive is, in fact, a space based on a technology with a decentralized space, it is impossible that there is not a “control room” that observes us from the highest top of the mountain. No, this post is not intended to be controversial (and if it were, it would not be a problem at all), but rather, to be a text that brings you, who are reading it, some reflection on what all this controversy involving ChatGPT is giving us.

A quem pertence a Hive?

Personally, the one thing I really like about HIVE is the connection with real flesh and blood people around the world. the minute AI is mixed in in order to create content, textual or artistic, human creativity is being left aside and for the moment I avoid any users or post that are AI related.
the use of any such apps and techs would find me out of HIVE.

I've seen that there are definitely a lot of people that are running things in the backgrounds and foregrounds of Hive. There are a number of people who are working to control the content that is on the platform and making sure to eliminate things they find unsavory such as the AI generated content. It's quite interesting but I think that there are definitely a lot of people in the background but not necessarily a single entity which can be confusing but also important.

Somewhere in here there is a "dome", but that's a debate for another time.
