Organic Grow Room Living Soil Experiment Grow 3 - #8

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Well some bad news on the auto flowers, I seem to just not be able to keep a seedling alive if I can get the seed to even crack.

This sucks so I have decided I will be moving back to regular plants and figuring a cycle out that allows me to get some plants started in another tent and move to the big tent after. I am not sure how to cycle them so they don't get transplant shock along with flipping at the same time. I think I will be buying some fabric pots that unzip at the bottom. This will allow the plants to sit on top of my soil and naturally root so should allow no transplant shock.

With the plants, I moved an auto flower I had in a 1 gallon that I didn't know was a 1 gallon and put it into 100 Gallon. I am really hoping it doesn't take a hit in growth but I think even if it does it will be better off. I also added 1 of the outdoor plants to the 100-gallon, I am hoping this will take and I can train it with LST Clips.

The peas have really taken off the last week or so, They are starting to show new growth and grow up the stick so this weekend I will be adding a trellis I got, I am not sure how well it will work so all a test.

Yeah dude I won’t ever knock autos, but I definitely prefer photos! So I can’t blame you. I’ll send you seeds with your stickers.

O seeds and sticks are welcome 😂, yeah seems last run was awesome but I can't keep them alive now. Photos seem to stay alive more or something

First off if you ever need to avoid all this transplant shock just use a solution of slated micronutrients that includes B vitamins like superthrive or thrive live with B vitamins...

Also water with that same solution if you have a severe drought issue and you have some limp plants. 99% of the time I was able to save whatever forgotten girl didn't get watered or if the drip emitter got disconnected.

Absolutely a huge tool to have in your arsenal.

Next up... Adding a plant. Personally I would start the seed in a clear Solo cup and then I slip it into a opaque additional cup. When the plant has gotten big enough to root bind itself which I can clearly see through the clear Solo cup. Just slice the bottom off and especially if you've prepared this cup with having score marks already going around... It makes it way easier.

Although I can just pretty much lift a plant straight out of the cup when it is root bound and I can even give it a couple of shakes and the root ball and stock is strong enough that it will free hang and suffer no damage.

So you can either double decker by just popping the bottom off and planting into another container. Or you can just slide it out and cutt a little hole and slide it on in.

Oh and hopefully you haven't been forgetting a little bit of potassium silica.

Clones are the way to go. Do a small veg tent. It make things way faster. I don't like autos. Reg seeds are the best. Feminized are also a no go; they herm. Feminized seeds come from herms. The down side to reg seeds is the chance of a male; but its worth it. You can pick the best female and clone it. My advice is to tag the females and clone them before you go to flower. Only keep the best pheno from the clones and keep cloning clones.
