We have a Nikon D5100 that my husband occasionally uses. I am curious if it is able to take such photos as those you shared.

@chenee As far as I know, D5100 is a nice camera but the ISO capability is limited to 6400 ISO with a lot of chromatic noise showing after 3200 ISO. It may be possible to take pictures in moonlight but please remember that you need to supplement lighting with a torchlight to have reasonably fast shutter speeds (you would need at least 1/250 shutter speed for hand-held clicks with reasonably steady hands). Would love to see the pics if you try.
