Finding Mushrooms At The Lhokseumawe City Museum
A few days ago, I visited the Lhokseumawe City Museum. I plan to take pictures of the historical collections stored there. I have a friend who works there as a museum manager.
But my visit that day was not at the right time, because apparently he was out of town, and I did not make an appointment with him.
Actually, I could have contacted him by phone, asking him to let me take pictures. But it doesn't feel good that way. So I decided to back to visit the museum the next day.
When I was about to go home, suddenly my eyes fell on the backyard of the museum. My eyes caught brownish-white things on the grass in the corner there. Wow! There are so many mushrooms growing!
I think they are puffball mushrooms of the genus Calvatia. They come in various shapes, some like meatballs, golf balls, and Chinese buns.
Look at that! A group of ants is at a banquet eating "meatballs" mushrooms. Watching their action, suddenly my stomach felt hungry and wanted to stop at the meatball stall.
The texture of this mushroom is so similar to a golf ball; while the others are almost all like Chinese buns. And suddenly I turned to want to eat Chinese buns.😁
