Scientific review, The benefits of Laurel Tea.




Bay leaf tea protects the heart, it is capable of protecting the health of our heart and this has to do with the fact that the caffeic acid in bay leaves strengthens the walls of our arteries and helps reduce bad cholesterol levels.


This also has to do with its anti-inflammatory power because bay leaf is capable of blocking enzymes such as cox-21, which trigger inflammation in our body. And at the same time they contain chemical compounds capable of fighting inflammation by inhibiting the production of nitric oxide in our body, which in high concentrations is also inflammatory.


And finally, there are also studies that have shown that cineole, a compound present in bay leaves, also contributes to stopping chronic inflammation.
