Biology is the science that studies living things in any of their sizes, we refer to microscopic as macroscopic organisms! Today I took a walk through a beach and bay to see what organisms we are and we will talk about them! make yourself comfortable that we will exercise the neurons!

ABOUT AQUATIC BIRDS
For the identification of birds we must be prepared with a lens in burst mode and long range, in this area my lens is not enough to take images of birds for them we need telephoto lenses, every time I go out I take my field notebooks, I never forget my bird identification book! Aquatic areas are an ideal environment for waders, Anatidae (ducks), and Ardeidae (herons),๐ฎ๐ฎ
I have several tricks to identify birds, I usually see the beak, the legs, many aquatic birds have some morphological changes in their beaks and legs this helps us to identify them faster, we see the colors in the feathers, I have the ability with my experience to identify them with sound, I sing! The tide plays a crucial role in feeding waterfowl, when low tide many mollusks are deposited, and that is when many birds take advantage of feeding!

Sometimes we make the mistake of confusing a species because they have different colors in their feathers! In birds there is something called sexual dimorphism, this means that the male and the female have different coloration, as for example this species that I photograph (Anas platyrhynchos) the male is more colorful than the female, this specimen is a female! We must also be very careful with the juvenile plumage, in birds the juvenile plumage has not developed the colors of the adult and we can get confused here we go to the books and reference to differentiate an adult from a juvenile!
Over the years, adaptation plays an important role in the survival of many species of birds, basically the law is clearly applied, survive the strongest! seagulls for example are common in areas with wetlands, lakes, rivers, seas! but little by little they have lost their fear to the point that they go from being fish hunters, to scavengers on the streets of coastal cities!
Although there are very opportunistic species, not all of them can escape us! every time we reduce more the habitat of many animals, we pollute the aquatic systems which brings a negative impact on the food chain, this bay is recently treated due to the great pollution that was thrown daily!
When pollution reaches such a high point, we lead to a point of irreversible pollution! we basically cannot reverse what we have destroyed! walking through this site brings me peace, it is a way of understanding the mysteries of nature, but every time I am surprised with the amount of pollution that we emit into this reservoir!

When I go to photograph birds, I always take advantage of going to the morning hours between 8-11 am and 4 pm-6pm are the busiest hours for birds! Sometimes we see birds with very bright colors and they become intensified when the sun reflects on them, right? This happens because one of the functions of the feathers is to bounce the sun's rays so the bird does not reach very high temperatures!
A grouping of birds is called a flock! there are birds that are solitary, others live in small groups and we have those that move in flocks! It is an advantage to beware of predators, when a bird warns of danger its instinct is to fly and escape fast! When the other individuals see a bird fly, they all do the same, it is an efficient way to survive!
Birds learn to live with us in a certain way! buildings, or any object can serve as a refuge, the big problem is that we do not know how to live with any species! the further I get closer to the beach! the ecosystem is changing and we stop seeing waterfowl to see other animals!
TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEM
When I leave the aquatic ecosystem I get a little closer to the earth, and we begin to observe flowers, it is normal to get arthropods, we are talking about the most abundant phylum of land, in which insects are found! These pollinators par excellence walk from flower to flower, feeding on nectar and fertilizing the flowers! and well ... Some take the opportunity to spend a free night in a 5-star hotel ...
Did you know that there is a botanical term called "inflorescence"? This is defined as the system of branches where the flowers are arranged, for the inexperienced eye only sees flowers, but in reality we are in the presence of inflorescence, (false flowers) and when we take macro photos we see the real flowers!
many flowers have different petals and reproductive systems adapted to certain insects! This adaptation means that many flowers are fertilized by specific species, such as butterflies, others have more open petals for the entry of various types of insects such as beetles, ants, in nature nothing is RANDOM everything has a purpose!
ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD THERE IS A TRACE OF US๐
The flowers mostly have a life time to be fertilized, then the flower is fertilized by the pollen brought from insects, the fruit grows that will be the means of dispersal of the seed! there are flowers that only grow at night avoiding the sun's rays!
After the fruit is eaten by an animal or degraded, a new plant grows that will serve as a home for many animals, not only as a food source! that is why a plant performs multiple roles, not counting those that are beneficial for us!
I did this route of approximately 12 kilometers, and it is incredible how the ecosystems change as I move away or closer to the sea, we can see how new species appear like crabs, jellyfish! the sea is a cocktail of biodiversity! and a rich source of food for all animals, for centuries our species was dependent on the sea! and it still is!
BACK TO VEGETATION
These are semi-aquatic plants, we get them near a body of water, but like the terrestrial plants they need flowers to be fertilized, this shot is perfect to observe the stamens, basically we are talking about the male reproductive organ, because in it the pollen sacs are found !

Look at this little beetle, it caught my attention as it is covered in dust ... Do you know what it is? That's right ... POLLEN ... It is filled with the male gamete of the flower and every time it lands on a new flower it becomes fertile when the pollen reaches the pistil!
My friend, insects are not like us, they have a very short lifespan! In fact, in the animal kingdom, insects are the organisms that live the least time, for example the spheres only live 24 hours ... So as I say ... NO TIME TO WASTE xD๐ฎ๐๐คฃ
NO HAY QUE PERDER TIEMPO xD๐ถ๐๐๐ฆ
I remember when I saw animal ecology I saw a scientific article where the author evaluated how many animals can visit a flower, and incredibly a flower can be visited by an average of 15 animals per day!
I will tell you something we have a bad culture for falling into great ignorance is that we annihilate many species! everyone thinks we should not kill a bee because they give us honey, they are pollinators, but when we see a wasp our intention is to kill it! why? a wasp has the same pollination capacity as a bee, and I tell you something a wasp helps to keep pests regulated, some hunt insects like cockroaches! all insects are important and have an indispensable roll learn that!
With these photos I dismiss my post! I hope that with him you learned something that you can put into practice! for me nature is like my wife! beautiful, accommodating, impressive, she is always there for me, she listens to me, she makes me fall in love more every day with her beauty! this thought makes me gain a value that not everyone has !!! today is here tomorrow I don't know ...

Hola.
ยกBuenas vibras!.
Hola hola!
Excellent publication Jonathan!!, extremely enriching. Greetings ๐
Thank honney, good day
