Good morning everyone,

Here we are with the second and last story of my visit to the splendid aquarium in Genoa, the largest in Italy!

As previously mentioned in this post, the aquarium can be considered a real marine museum, as there are several species belonging to the entire animal kingdom. One of the most interesting things in my opinion is the way in which the building was structured: in fact, the environments are very different from each other and reconstruct the habitat of animals in nature. It is possible, within a few steps, to observe tropical, Antarctic and temperate fauna and flora. They have also built four huge tanks that can be observed both from the ground floor and from the first floor, so that you can watch manatees, sharks, seals, penguins at different levels.

If you are lucky enough, your visit can coincide with the dolphin meal! Twice a day, in fact, the public can witness this delicate moment in the presence of a trainer who tells curiosities about the biology of these animals and shows how to take care of them.

The Genoa aquarium has an eye for children and teenagers. Just think that once a month, during the "Night with Sharks", they propose to a maximum of 35 teenagers to sleep inside the aquarium to find out all about the nocturnal behavior of the inhabitants of the aquarium. It must be a sensational experience!

It goes without saying that this living museum has left me with wonderful memories and I hope I have enticed someone to visit it! I leave you with a roundup of photos taken during the visit, I hope you like them.

See you soon,

Delilha

Buongiorno a tutti,

A presto,

Delilha
