Not sure how widespread they rolled it out, but PayPal lets me buy Bitcoin and Ethereum directly through them.

Yes, PayPal also supports cryptocurrency, but I currently do not know in which countries. Probably it is currently also only in the USA.

Yea the options for buying crypto in the US suck. I think coinbase is the easiest way for us to convert it but honestly I don't know about using paypal for payments though.

I live in Hungary, and as I know the only option to sell cryptocurrencies, and withdrew them to a Hungarian Forint (HUF) bank account is Coinbase. I currently do not know any other cryptocurrency exchange, which would support Hungarian Forint (HUF) bank accounts.
