among these projects AVAX, ALGO, CRO, ADA, XMR and NEAR, which one do you like best? if I had to choose, I would choose CRO and ALGO. What do you think about it?

CRO is a very safe bet. They are doing things very much similar to Binance with BNB. They have some serious marketing planned. If you compare the marketcap of BNB with CRO, I see significant growth potential that is still blue chip. ALGO has much lower marketcap which could allow for better growth.

I have a special place for XMR and ADA for the technology. Investing as a speculator on them is a different story. The others in the list are heavily dependent on centralized entities. CRO could become less dependent on FORIS DAX, INC. over time just as BNB is less dependent on Binance now.

I think you are choosing well. I'm especially bullish on CRO at this moment. Personally I prefer to stay away from Top 100 cryptocurrencies. Out of the projects I didn't mention, Fantom is very underrated at the moment. They are using technology from Hashgraph and have some very innovative features going beyond a mere EVM copy.

I always get NEAR Protocol ads on Brave browser~ I'll just say, they know their market...

I'm keeping this tabbed and listening to the videos in my spare time. I learned a lot about NEAR Protocol, I wasn't interested when I got ads about it, but it seems they're doing more than a few things right.

P.S: I like the way he talks in rhymes sometimes~

I did like the ad strategy NEAR was using. They were showing their roadmaps and education programs to onboard more users and developers. HIVE could learn a lot from their marketing campaigns. We need to have a real marketing push. At least we have one marketing proposal getting funded by DHF. They are asking for $17,850 which is tiny compared to what we are spending to keep HBD stable.

Instead of marketing Hive as a whole, I believe it's better to market individual (d)apps, like DBuzz and 3Speak and even games like @splinterlands

Those are more marketable: They're focusing on one thing each.

Hive will succeed if the parts that make it whole succeed!

That is the best way to onboard users, but not necessarily developers (and maybe even investors; Dolphin and above). We need more developers building more DAPPs. Take a look at this chart.

We need more DAPPs like @splinterlands and not have ourselves dependent on one project. In other words we need more killer DAPPs. We need to let people know that Ethereum and other EVMs are not the only or even best place for their DAPPs.

Now, I watched the CARDANO video, I'm glad I have some $ADA, because it looks a great long-term blockchain~

Cardano is the most blue chip of all cryptocurrency investments IMO. The only reason I'm not holding any is because ADA is already in Top 10. It is harder for ADA to 100X from this point compared to something like HIVE which would be below Cardano marketcap even if it 100X from current prices.

What you just said is another reason why I should put more into it... Because there's a lower risk if it's in the Top 10 already, even if the reward isn't as high as a coin like Hive.

If your goal is stability, then Cardano is easily one of the best places to invest. I would even say it is the best among Top 10 for that.

I think it is a well deserved recommendation. I started having so much respect for Charles Hoskinson after this interview with Lex Fridman:

I wish someone explains the main point of this to me without watching this 5 hours of video~
