I just had a nice dose of Quantum nostalgia. I saw an animated video on Quantum mechanics about 13 years ago while still in middle school. Someone has uploaded it to YouTube and it magically showed up on my recommendations while watching game design

I am glad they added the second half after Down the Rabbit Hole.

Because, it isn't just that a photon or electron acts different when observed, it fricken goes back in time and interferes with itself.

I think many of the so called complexities and spooky things we encounter are simply a result of our own human made distortion and presumptions. People could wrap their heads around an Earth that was a sphere because they thought people would fall off of the bottom.

I think we have too many wrong ideas about time and the universe. I used to say that time doesn't exist; chronology does. We have to entertain the possibility that time isn't some 4th dimension but simply a way we process causality and chronology. Maybe time is just an emergent effect.

Or, maybe it really all depends on consciousness.
It all depends on if someone is watching.

A quote, i don't remember who

Out in the dark empty spots in space, God does whatever he wants.

I find causality is completely backwards.
How does a body heal? Because it is healed in the future, and that existence spans backwards to the now defining the path forward.

The clouds do not cause the rain.
The evaporation does not cause the rain
The sun does not cause the rain.
The tree being watered, the tree needing water, causes the rain.
And it stretches back through time to cause the evaporation and the congealing and the electrical structure that causes the lightning that dumps the water...

Can you give me a link to what you are talking about?

It sounds like the documentary #WhatTheBleepDoWeKnow

The first half is from What The Bleep Do We know (down the rabbit hole)

The second half is from... whatshis name... Sorry, i will never remember it but you can find it poking around.
He talks at length about things going back in time and changing results.

Like an experiment where a student, wearing earphones, listened to a tape.
There was left ear buzzs and right ear buzzs. And they were to count them.

Next they were told to think about getting more right ear buzzs.
(the tapes were recorded by a RNG machine without ever being heard before)
And lo and behold, there were more right ear buzzs.

So, the students thoughts affected the past.
