There is an entire movement starting to deny the universality and objectivity of math. Some are equating it with white supremacy (despite much of math having Indian/Arabic origins). This is actually gaining steam. Be aware what your kids get exposed to.

The pathologies of irrationality are coming out in full swing because the conditions for control * fear are ripe. I am going to double my efforts to spread truth, reason and virtue :)

We will work to provide the tools for freedom of speech, and one of the things I want to do for #DBuzz is limit the amount of influence $ can buy on our platform.

Money buys too much influence in the #MainstreamMedia, and even on Web 2.0 sites (less of an issue, somewhat).

You are right to point out that it is up to us to keep these platforms up to our personal standards. Overall, I am quite excited in the direction of decentralized web :)

I have seen professors come on TV to say that math is racist.

And there is a BIGGER problem.

In our current math, it is provable that 1 = -1 !

Consider why calculus is taught.
Why? Especially today when things like discreet mathematics is SOOOOO much more useful.
Calculus is taught to hide the inherent flaws in modern mathematics.

There are also things like, the universe is in base 12.

So, while these peons are trying to get rid of rational thought
there is a group that is trying to get mathematics to move into the 21st century.
(meaning, to rewrite math as we know it)

Whenever zero or infinity gets into the picture modern mathematics go haywire. I think we have a lot to understand about zero and infinity. For an example Ramanjujan proved that 1 + 2 + 3 + ⋯ + ∞ = -1/12
