Infinity can take us to weird predicaments. Did you know that a mostly self-taught Indian named Srinivasa Ramanujan proved that 1 + 2 + 3 + ⋯ + ∞ = -1/12

One of the biggest problems with modern mathematics is the assumption that you can always add one to a number.
In reality this doesn't work.
If you have four apples, then 1 apple + 2 apples = 3 apples.
2 apples + 3 apples is undefined. Or is meaningless.
We may need to choose a largest number, or define a circular set arithmetic.
How many atoms are in the universe is probably a knowable and quantifiable number, and that may be a significant number in place of infinity.
I don't think zero and infinity are numbers. They are almost like functions. We need to acknowledge and teach that difference IMHO.
Yeah, I barely understood that video and didn't really understand it since I have taken advanced math classes.
Can you summarize what #ComplexNumbers are?
( Without me having to watch a video )
Complex numbers are such like x + yi
Where they have a real part and an imaginary part. (i being the square root of -1)
