My mom would make us birthday pies instead of birthday cakes, so this pie is always throwback to my childhood!

Absolutely! It is the perfect combination of sweet and a little tart, a very good piece of pie! My family was never really into the overwhelming sugary-ness of cake, so pie was a good substitute. lol, thanks for your comment! !PIZZA
