Astronomers discovered the asteroid Apophis in 2004. Soon after, the researchers calculated its orbital trajectory and found out that this object will pass near the Earth in 2013, 2029, 2036 and 2068. The passage of an asteroid in 2068 could turn into a real catastrophe.

I was too small for the year 2000 stuff. But we did have ton of stuff goin on about 2012. We still made it through :)
