Math mini-contest problem for Day 4 on D.Buzz ๐
Ahmad played with numbers again. Starting with a positive number N, he added 3, then used the sum to divide N. The addition of 3 and using the sum to divide N is repeated indefinitely. What number will the result approach?

0! The more times you try this the closer you get to 0.
10/(10+3) = 0.77
10/(13+3) = 0.62
10/(16+3) = 0.53
....
10/(297+3) = 0.033
...
10/(30000000+3) => Almost 0~

Looks like you got the answer before me. I spent some time working out the math and had to double check lol.
0 is my answer. The number just keeps getting smaller if I work out the math.
I think it is 0.000......00001, where the no of zeros is infinite.

Answer for Day 4 Math Problem
Solution
Repeating the division of a positive number n by (n + 3) will give cumulative results closer and closer to zero. I don't know how to explain this further! ๐

Haha!! Noted~
For me, it's always okay:
it wasn't really clear to me if you meant (N+3)/N or N/(N+3) and calculated the first, because it nicely converges to the same value no matter which starting value you use.
If only I could squeeze more details into a 280-character buzz! ๐
hehe, the curse and blessing of short messages ๐
