Math Problem for Day 22 π
Holovision is lost in hyperspace at (15.6, 12.4, 8.9, 6.66) and needs rescue. His interdimensional portal generator at (3.84, 5.16, 4.20, 0) needs the distance to pull him back into this universe. What is Holovision's distance from the generator?

My guess is 16.036 units where unit is whatever the points is measured in. Work in the following comment.
(15.6, 12.4, 8.9, 6.66) = (x1,y1,z1,t1)
(3.84, 5.16, 4.20, 0)=(x2,y2,z2,t2)
Distance between 2 points on 4D:
d = sqrt((x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2+(z1-z2)^2+(t1-t2)^2)
d = sqrt((11.76^2+7.24^2+4.7^2+6.66^2))
d = sqt(257.1608) = 16.036
I was about to do this problem but you got it. Euclidean Distance for n-dimensions where n = 4.
I do the problem at night before it's bedtime. So if I can't solve it after a while, I just give a random answer. This time around, the question was fairly easy.

Answer for Day 22 Math Problem
Solution
The distance of any two points (1D, 2D, 3D, 4D, and onwards) is equal to the square root of the sum of the squares of the differences of each axis of the two points.
Our equation is now
d = β((15.6 - 3.84)Β² + (12.4 - 5.16)Β² + (8.9 - 4.2)Β² + (6.66 - 0)Β²)
d = 16.036233972 or approximately 16.04 units
@holovision's interdimensional portal generator must create a portal that is 16.04 units away from him. π
