RE: I think there should be a way to redeem (some sort of) Account Creation Tokens without being required to have more than 5,000 Hive Power first 🤔

Yep, been there as well :(
I chose to spend 3 Hive to create another account on my own with the regular account creation, not using ACT...

Well I think you could of made an account specific to DBuzz and other stuff and used their referral. But I do not know if there are limitations there. But I think they would not mind if you use it to interact with their community and use their front-end as well. Plus using it for other stuff afterwards is just a bonus.
Do you mean using the Hiveonboard website, which is recommended by D.Buzz for new Hive users? 🤔 Since it requires phone verification, I am discouraged from using it. 🙁
Ah I never used it so I didn't realize. I guess the other way is to use LeoFinance and create an account using Metamask or Twitter.
I have no accounts on either. 😬😅
It's either I find a way to use 3 HIVE to create a new account (because I can't login to #HiveInvite and BlockTrades charges 4.1 HIVE) or create a free account using #Ecency. 🤔
They don't require KYC. Just make a random email and make an account if you want to save on 3 HIVE.
Do you mean I could use a random email on Metamask or Twitter, then download Metamask or provide profile information on Twitter? 🤔 I know I can, but it looks really inconvenient. 😰 I also know I can just use an email address to create a Hive account through #Ecency. 🙂
Yea its a round about way but you do get an HP delegation but I am not sure how it compares to eccency's HP delegation.
Thanks for your suggestion, but I would stick to either #HiveInvite (when it works) or #Ecency. 🙂
What dapp did you use to use 3 HIVE to create another account? 🤔
I noticed that #Ecency offers free Hive accounts by just using any email address. 🕵️♂️
No dapp, I used beempy from command line.
Right, ecency might be an option as well, not sure if this is allowed for secondary accounts or if they have a 'one account per person' policy?
I have not seen a "one Hive account policy" on #Ecency anywhere. 🕵️♂️ I am considering creating a secondary account there, primarily to reserve some of my HIVE for my mini-contest rewards and Hive Power Up Day (for the 1st of each month). 🤔
